《Beautiful boy》是约翰列侬写给儿子西恩列侬( Sean Lennon )的歌。约翰列侬结过两次婚，第一次的婚姻和前妻生下了朱利安列侬( Julian Lennon )，他和”披头四”的作曲搭档保罗麦卡尼合写了《Hey, Jude》 送给了朱利安。後来约翰列侬又和曰籍的小野洋子( Yoko Ono )结婚，生下西恩列侬，并写下 Beautiful boy送给他。
