Katie Melua 凯蒂·玛露，格鲁吉亚人，成长于俄罗斯及英国，她的声线兼备蓝调、民谣、爵士味道。     

《when you taught me how to dance》是Katie Melua为电影《波特小姐（Miss Potter）》写的感人情歌（用作片尾曲），片中一场浪漫的求婚戏，男主角送女主角一个音乐盒，男主角还清唱了这首曲子。

被称为音乐才女的她还为电影胆小鬼‘Faintheart’ 写过《Toy Collection》，另外就是她和Mike共同编写过舒缓的抒情蓝调《Somewhere In The Same Hotel》，和节奏欢快充满加勒比风格的节奏蓝调《Two Bare Feet》。
